Safe Travel International Pty Ltd (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Gus mobile application and the website (the “Service”).
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Gus App protects, as far as reasonably possible, personal information from loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We use a variety of physical and electronic security measures over hard copy documents and electronic data files, including access locks and security systems, and computer and network security.
We have processes in place to ensure the security of your personal information, including encryption of all data when it is transferred to our third party service providers and limitations on access to personal information within our organisation.

Gus App may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Personal information is used in conducting our business, feedback received through our website and also for public relations exercises to keep past, current and potential users, clients, service providers, or interested parties, informed of our services. We use your information to deliver to you products and services as requested by you and such information is therefore provided so as we can do so.

Background Location Tracking
GUS App subscribers will only have their device tracked if they accept a request from (GUS) contacts.
The GUS app runs in the background so that your location can be tracked even whilst the app is closed. This is required for the track functionality to work allowing contacts who have accepted your access requests to view your location. GUS also uses your device location to send it to your authorised GUS contacts if you activate the Panic, Safe Departure / Arrival functions and provide you alerts via push notifications and SMS (if opted in, ) relative to your current location.
Location data will not be shared with any 3rd parties.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Quality Access and correction of personal information,
We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information collected by us is used and disclosed accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with the law.
If you think that any of the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to correct it.
